Our Preschool Room provides a welcoming, engaging environment where children can build confidence, develop independence and gain the skills they need for a smooth transition to school. We combine child-led play, focused learning and everyday experiences to make learning enjoyable and meaningful.

We support children across all areas of the EYFS, with activities planned around their individual interests, development and next steps.

Children have access to a wide range of resources, allowing them to create their own games, explore ideas, develop their imagination and build positive relationships with others.

Our children enjoy plenty of outdoor learning and exploration, including nature walks, bug hunts and discovering the world around them. They also take part in local outings and enjoy physical activity through climbing, dancing and taking part in P.E. sessions.

Each day includes opportunities for carpet time, where we explore topics such as the days of the week, weather, celebrations and special events. Children also have access to early learning resources including name-writing activities, number games and literacy and maths resources, helping them develop the foundations they will need for school.

We work closely with families through parent meetings and regular progress updates, ensuring you are kept involved in your child’s development.
